Exploring Monaco’s Districts

Inside Monaco: Discover the Distinctive Charm of Each Neighbourhood

From the timeless streets of Monaco-Ville to the sleek seafront towers of Larvotto and La Rousse, each district in Monaco offers its own lifestyle, atmosphere, and architectural identity, all within just over 2 km² of breathtaking Mediterranean coastline.

Monaco-Ville, or Le Rocher, is the oldest part of the Principality, a hilltop enclave of narrow streets, colourful façades, and iconic landmarks like the Prince’s Palace and the Oceanographic Museum. Peaceful and picturesque, it offers a charming contrast to the city’s modern glamour, along with some of the best views in Monaco.
