International real estate advisor Savills has formed a new association with Los Angeles-based real estate brokerage The Agency.
Based in Beverly Hills and with offices in Las Vegas and throughout Southern California, The Agency specialises in the top-end of the residential real estate market, representing high-net worth clients and a broad spectrum of properties worldwide. The Agency was founded by Mauricio Umansky, who was recently recognised by The Wall Street Journal as the top-producing real estate agent in California and the third in America, and Billy Rose, whom The Wall Street Journal recognised as the number 21 top-producing real estate agent in America.
Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, head of global residential, Savills, said, “We are delighted to have formed this association with The Agency. Having recently partnered with San Francisco-based real estate firm, McGuire, we look forward to fulfilling our requirements in these two major west coast capitals.”
Billy Rose, co-founder, President and COO of The Agency, said: “Gone are the days of numerous, discrete real estate markets. Now there is only one singular, global market. Consequently, it was imperative to align ourselves with an organisation which will give us a powerful presence in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. As the undisputed leader in those territories, and since they have an impeccable reputation, Savills was our only consideration.”
Mauricio Umansky, co-founder and CEO of The Agency adds: “As a result of our partnership with Savills, our clients’ properties will have a much broader exposure internationally. The Savills’ digital platform, coupled with the Savills network of highly-connected top agents, will better enable us to reach the right buyers and investors, and their representatives, thereby helping us achieve faster sales at higher prices for our homeowner and developer clients. We are honoured to become an associate of the Savills family.”
