Success at Symmetry Park, Aston Clinton as new occupier moves into Unit 3

Tritax Big Box REIT plc, advised by Savills and Brasier Freeth, has let Unit 3 at Symmetry Park in Aston Clinton, Northampton to a wholesale distributor.

The occupier has agreed to a new 15-year lease for the unit, which comprises 112,148 sq ft of high-quality logistics space situated in a well-established prime location. Adjacent to the A41, the scheme offers quick and easy access to the M25, perfect for occupiers looking to service both central London and national markets.

Following this latest deal, Unit 2 remains available to let. Totalling 56,034 sq ft, the warehouse building is marketed at a quoting rent of £14.50 per sq ft.

Bridget Outtrim, director in the industrial & logistics team at Savills, comments: “We were able to secure the new occupier prior to the previous tenant’s lease termination, an excellent result for Tritax Big Box. What’s more, given the relative good value of Aston Clinton, compared to other comparable schemes in nearby locations serving London, we have considerable interest in the remaining unit.”

James Charlesworth, director, asset manager at Tritax Group, adds: “We’re delighted to welcome a new client to Unit 3. Securing a 15-year lease ahead of the previous tenant’s departure demonstrates the resilience of the Aston Clinton market and the quality of the space. With Unit 2 now available, we expect continued momentum given the scheme’s strategic location.”
