Savills, acting on behalf of Real I.S., has facilitated the lease renewal with logistics service provider Rulewave for the distribution centre located at Energieweg 2 in Moerdijk (Klundert).

The renewal concerns a total of approximately 19,750 sq m, comprising logistics space, office accommodation, an ADR storage area of around 4,000 sq m, and a mezzanine, complemented by roughly 2,800 sq m of external yard space. As a result, Smartlog II remains fully occupied. At the same time, Real I.S. is investing in further sustainability upgrades to the complex, including the transition to full LED lighting and the installation of additional electric vehicle charging points. These measures ensure the building is future‑proof and aligned with the increasing energy demand and sustainability objectives of both the tenant and the landlord.

The renewal underscores Rulewave’s confidence in Moerdijk as a logistics hub and in the quality of the building. Its location near the A17 and its proximity to both Rotterdam and Antwerp make Smartlog II a strategically valuable base of operations.
