Savills Earth strengthens Strategic Impact Advisory team with senior appointment

International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Emily King as Director and Co‑Head of its Strategic Impact Advisory team within Savills Earth. Emily is a senior leader with more than 20 years’ experience advising at the intersection of people, place and investment across infrastructure and the wider built environment.

In her new role, Emily will work alongside Tom Hill, Co‑Head of Strategic Impact Advisory, advising clients on how to measure and manage environmental, social, and economic impact in an integrated way, and enabling these outcomes to be more readily compared with financial metrics. Emily’s remit focuses on expanding the team’s strategic impact services across urban development and regeneration, nationally significant infrastructure, and sustainable finance. Emily and Tom will also work closely with the wider Savills network, including Social Value and Economics, to ensure clients benefit from coordinated, cross disciplinary expertise.

David Jackson, Head of Planning and Savills Earth, says, “Emily brings a rare combination of strategic insight and technical depth, honed through extensive experience in supporting senior leaders to navigate complex investment challenges and to make decisions that enhance long term value creation. We are delighted to welcome her to Savills Earth as we continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients.”

Emily King, Director and Co-Head of Strategic Impact Advisory, adds, “I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundation that Tom and the team have established, supporting clients to translate evidence into strategic choices that direct investment where it delivers the greatest long term benefit. My passion lies in helping organisations cut through complexity to ensure projects are aligned with strategic priorities and optimised for both societal and commercial value, and I’m excited to bring this focus to Savills Earth.”
